MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Friday May 24

1:00-5:00p Check-in

6:00p Charity BINGO and Happy Camper Hour (Event Center)

  • Play for any donation amount.
  • 100% will be donated to charity.
  • Prizes will be given to the winners.

7:00p Kids Connect Four Tourney (Event Center)

  • Prizes for top two winners. All ages welcome.
  • Cost: included with wristband

Saturday May 25

9:15-10:30a Complimentary Waffle Breakfast (Event Center)

11:00a Supersoaker Wagon Ride Battle (Playground)

  • Kids ride a wagon armed with super soakers and buckets of water.
  • Adults hide on sites armed with hoses, super soakers, and buckets of water.
  • It is recommended for participants to wear goggles

5:00-6:00p Memorial Day BBQ Battle and Meal (Event Center)

  • Menu: BBQ smoked meats, mac n’ cheese, baked beans, watermelon, cookies, drinks
  • Guests wanting to participate in the BBQ Battle must register by May 15 with the office.
  • Cost for Non-participants: included with wristband

6:30p Cornhole Tourney 

  • Teams of two will compete in this Tournament.
  • Cost: $10 per team to play.
  • 50% will be donated to charity / 50% will be given to the winners

Sunday May 26 – Office Open 9am-2:00p

10:00a Memorial Day Tie-Dye (Event Center)

  • Cost: included with wristband

10:00a Bicycle Decoration pickup (Event Center)

11:00a Bicycle Parade (Playground)

12:00-3:00p Memorial Day Pool Party with DJ Nicki (Front Pool)

  • Splash BINGO & Pool games with outdoor music

Monday May 27 – Office Open 10:30am-2:00p

10:00a Memorial Day Flag Service

  • We will have a flag raising at our Flagpole.
  • All traffic will be stopped for this time of remembrance.
  • Guests can get a flag in remembrance of a fallen solider and put it under our flag pole.

WRISTBANDS: Pre-register for ALL activities by May 20 for $8 ($15 after 5/20 & based on availability

 

BBQ BATTLE REGISTRATION INFORMATION

REGISTRATION

  • Register by May 15
  • $10-20 per entry (100% will go to cash prizes)
  • Registration must be made through our Office

JUDGING

  • Judges will rate each meat entry on flavor, tenderness, and overall appearance.
  • They will rate the sides on flavor, creativity, and overall appearance.

SUBMISSION

  • Submit your entry in a regular serving container to the EVENT CENTER by 4:30p SATURDAY.
  • Please make enough food to feed 20-30 people and 4 judges. 

CATEGORIES

  • Brisket
  • Pulled Pork
  • Ribs
  • Miscellaneous Sides (must be cooked on a smoker)
